Customer Reviews: Positive: I was skeptical about this product but thought I'd give it a try. It did take the full 24 hours to work, but it worked pretty well. I love that this product is nowhere near as toxic as the more advertised drain cleaners and still works. I get best results with it in the shower and kitchen sink. In the bathroom sink, not as good as I wish--maybe something unedible is down there. It may take a while to work, but there is no toxic smell, I feel safe with it around pets and do not panic about a splash or spill (still would avoid it). If there is a very slow or plugged drain, I just pour some in directly and walk away. Not the instruction's advice, but it works. Negative: Oh dear. I really wanted this product to work. I liked the idea of an all natural product to keep my frequently clogged drains clear. I followed the instructions, word for word, starting with the simple drain maintenance. My drain was not in terrible shape to begin with, but after the first use of this product, the drain got a little slower. I did a second treatment, then a third, then several more, increasing the amount of time before flushing the drain and each time the drain got slower. Finally, the drain just didn't drain at all. So, I tried the full on drain unblocker and waited for longer than 24 hours before flushing with water. No luck at all. I ended up buying liquid plumber, which took care of my problem right away. I'm not sure why this didn't work for me (I followed the directions exactly) and why it worked for others. I won't be using this again on my drain, but I do like the suggestions from other reviews for other uses. If you get this, have a backup plan in case it doesn't work. (Drugstore.com)
